David Young wheat pastes next to The Shooting Gallery. Unfortunately, unless you caught these opening night, you missed out. They came down pretty quick.
Lucas Soi at The Shooting Gallery. Love his insane detail use of pen!
Furry dude orgy!
Next up, C3's work.. a perfect fit for the month of October!
Creepy mask installations and candles. I'm always amazed when no one catches fire around these things (even more amazed when I don't).
Awesome super-detailed pencil work. C3 is getting into color bit by bit.
Moving on to White Walls and Kofie's paintings.
A self-taught artist, Kofie works with mixed media: acrylic, spray paint, and found papers and materials.
Paintings, paintings, paintings...
Super clean linework and design.
Found materials installation!
Another install. This one takes up most of the wall from floor to ceiling - very cool!
Heading upstairs to Gallery Three and David Young V's work.. and floor installation.
Mad detail. I believe this one was either a collaboration with C3, or used references featuring C3 (yay, creepy masks).
We're happy with creepy masks.
The work is definitely getting more detailed and tight.
At the Gallery Three opening reception, David Young gave away free limited edition prints, printed by the TL's own The Loin.
Mr. David Young, preparing for the apocalypse that will inevitably happen. And when it does, I'm sure will see even more rad art. :D
